Eyelure Brow Crayon

It’s twisty and it’s pretty nifty – it’s the Eyelure Brow Crayon! Now, I personally feel as if  I’ve done my entire brow process in reverse, as I started with creams, moved on to powders, and am finally delving into pencils. I picked this one up from Ulta when it was 50% off and have been browing up it with it ever since!

Though the product is called a “brow crayon,” there’s no need to confuse it for anything similar to the chunky actual crayon released by Maybelline earlier this year. It’s a full on slim pencil in blue plastic packaging. There is 0.008 oz of product which is less than in the new Benefit Cosmetics pencil, but almost 3 times more than in the Anastasia Brow Wiz. It twists up, so there’s no need to worry about toting around a sharpener. This does carry some downsides. The first is that it’s hard to tell how much product you have left without twisting the pencil up all the way. The second is that because the pencil can’t be sharpened, it’s difficult to ever get a precise point at the tail of your brow.

I picked mine up in the shade 10 Dark Brown. It’s a slightly cool toned deep brown. It’s very creamy, though when applied to the brows adds a bit of a soft waxy feeling to the individual hairs. In fact, it feels a bit as if it coats your eyebrows, making them look a bit fuller. It also shows up very true to color, and looks incredibly natural on ultra-dark hair. It’s also very long-lasting, doesn’t smudge, and my eyebrow tails are still there at the end of the day.

I’m a huge fan of this product. It’s super easy to use and has cut my brow time in half. Unfortunately there are only 3 shades available (tragic, because these pencils are bomb) and they’re no longer carried by Ulta. If you do come across them, though, and they have your shade, I definitely say go for it!

Thanks for reading!

Until next time, have an awesome rest of your day and an amazing rest of your week!
