Fave Fall Lipsticks

My name is Olivia and I have an undying devotion to matte lips. Because of the intensity of me love for all that is devoid of shine, it is only appropriate that I share my favorite fall matte lipsticks with you all!

During the fall I have a preference for deeper shades, nudes, and flesh tones. I love reds, though I tend to stray away from those with coral or orange undertones. Even my nudes have a bit of depth to them, particularly the shade Courageous, which is meant to be a medium bluish brown, but shows up on my skin as a deeper mauve-y nude.

Thanks for reading!

Until next time, have an awesome rest of your day and an amazing rest of your week!

    1. I recommend the matte lippie sticks for sure! I also have some of their supershock shadows, and they’re pretty good (especially if you hate fall out, since it has a pretty fall out-proof formula)!

  1. I love dark lips and nude lips for the fall, but I can’t for the life of me find a comfortable way to wear matte lipsticks! Every matte lipstick I’ve ever used has always been so drying on my lips, I’m afraid I now just steer clear of matte formulas, however beautiful they may look on display.

    1. I actually have super dry and crackly lips regardless if I’m wearing lipstick or not, so I’ve just developed a habit of suffering through it (except with the rimmel london provocalips liquid lipsticks – my lips just said no). Surprisingly, the Ulta Matte Lip Creams have turned out to be my most comfortable matte lip. They feel very moussey, and don’t get all filmy and constrictive when they dry down. It pretty much feels like you aren’t wearing anything. But if you’re not a matte lip person, I don’t judge you! Lipstick is low-key my least favorite makeup item to wear, mainly because you can’t really put lip balm over it (or maybe there’s a secret to it that I just don’t know yet).
