Winter Lookbook – Blogmas Day 11

Winter is coming! It’s finally dropped down to the low 30’s in my city, and while it hasn’t snowed yet, I’m one step closer to a Hallmark-worthy December. Because I’m feeling that winter spirit, I decided to put together a mini lookbook of some of my favorite winter looks from my closet. They definitely aren’t fit for anyone who lives in a place where winter means 3-4 months of snow and ice, but if you live in the south and typically expect some 30-40 degree weather, then you might gain some inspiration from this collection!

Look #1100_9431new

Sweater: F21; Overalls: Rainbow; Tights: F21; Booties: Charlotte Russe; Earrings: Miss A

This look is as “everyday Liv” as it gets. At this time of year, I practically live in the Christmas sweater I picked up from Forever 21 last year (which is also the first Christmas sweater I ever owned). It’s super cozy and very playful. I wanted to build off of how fun it is by matching it with my overall dress and colored tights.

Look #2

Sweater: Thrifted; Dress: CATO Fashions: Tights: F21; Booties: Target; Earrings: Miss A; Bag: Charlotte Russe

In the winter I love to layer, which also means I get a little experimental in my attempts to wear every item I own at one time. This outfit basically combines all of my favorite things: striped sweaters, cropped sweaters, fringe, black and white, and ankle booties.

Look #3

Sweater: Walmart; Skirt: AAFES; Tights: F21; Shoes: Payless; Necklace: F21; Earrings: Miss A

This is my winter holiday look. I love dressing up, but my family is definitely one for enjoying the more casual type of occasion. This combination is neither wholly formal nor wholly casual, so it allows me to bridge that gap. It also uses one of my ultra simple winter outfit formulas: skater skirt, sweater, and tights.

What’s your go-to winter look?

Thanks for reading!

Until next time, have an awesome rest of your day and an amazing rest of your week!
