Whether you’re painting the town red with your friends or chilling at home with your 4 cats, New Year’s Eve is the perfect excuse to get all glammed up. You’ve seen those decorations at Target and Party City. They’re so sparkly. They’re trying to compete against you. And I’m just out here trying to make sure that you win that shining competition. Here are some special Liv-approved 100% organic grass fed NYE makeup looks!
This look is super dramatic, but it was actually the easiest one for me to do! I simply threw my bronzer in my crease, followed it up with the deep brown tone (Chocolate) from my Lorac Pro Matte Palette, and then packed the more mid-tone brown (Courdoroy) all over the lid. Throw some gold in the inner corner and swip-swipe on a bold red lip and you are ready to go!
In the words on my auntie on Instagram, “Wow, she really feeling herself!” I began by building up the black from my Profusion palette in my crease and outer corner. Use a less pigmented black, like I did, so that you can concentrate most of the color in your eye’s outer v and then blend and diffuse it into the crease. Then I packed this “my skin, but bronzier” shade, which is the NYX Prismatic Shadow in Bedroom Eyes, all over my lid, hit it everything up with the flick of a wing, and added a pinky-nude lip.
The theme here was GLOW, and with this look you’ll be so shiny people that you will overpower the draw of that NYE ball. It will have nothing on you. For this look, I put together a really time consuming cut crease using another NYX Prismatic Shadow, this time in liquid gold. Then I covered my whole face in multiple golden toned highlights. I even threw the gold eyeshadow on the apples of my cheeks and the tip of my nose. For lips, I used the ColourPop Lippie Stick in Taurus and mixed a golden highlighter on top of it for a metallic finish. Ya girl is shinin’, shinin’, shinin’, shinin’, yeah.
What are your NYE plans?
