Mini Beauty Haul

There should be caution signs in front of drugstore beauty aisles that say, “Warning! Even though it’s cheaper than Sephora, you may fall into the trap of ‘good deals’ and end up spending just as much as you would have in Sephora!” Unfortunately, that’s bit too long to throw on a sign, so maybe they should just have one with that money flying away emoji might. A sign of any variety may have led to me putting up a different post for today, really. Regardless, here are my new goods!

Maybelline SuperStay Full Coverage Foundation

I initially was going to buy the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation, but I was just struck by the SuperStay display. I don’t necessarily remember what it looked like, but it was moving enough that I was willing to buy this  foundation in a very questionable shade – Coconut. I put it on my face for about 30 seconds and it was legit orange and then faded into Orange 2.0.

L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise

This is really just a bomb mascara. I’ve used it before and loved the way it made my lashes look. Unfortunately, it dries out faster than the rest of my mascaras, which sucks, because it’s $10.

CoverGirl Melting Pout Matte in  All Nighter

This isn’t my newest purchase, but it’s a good one! I’ve been looking for a red lipstick that doesn’t lean too pink or too orange, and I think I’ve found it! It’s got a little bit of a blue undertone to it – or, at least, that’s something I imagine people with a better eye for color than me would say – and is fairly pigmented from the get go!

Blistex Medicated Lip Balm

One of my goals for 2018 is to be less dry, crusty, and dehydrated than I’ve been for the past 21 years of my life. As such, I’m now allowing myself to buy a lip balm any time I feel the urge when I’m in a checkout line.

Schick Quattro – Sensitive Skin

This was my best purchase, because I bought it for the low, low price of $2.79! I was channeling some Extreme Couponing vibes, and paired my $4 off any Schick razor coupon with a Kroger deal that had originally brought these razors down to $6.79. Not to toot my own horn, but I felt pretty accomplished when I looked at that price drop on the screen once that coupon was scanned.

Have you made any good drugstore beauty purchases lately?

Thanks for reading!

Until next time, have an awesome rest of your day and an amazing rest of your week!
