Growing up, my parents were notoriously light packers and thus they raised a child who also learned to pack light (even though they disagree)! I like to think I’ve got some mad skills and I’m ready to share them with you all! Take another journey into my floral bag of wonder (you can see my past journey here) and get ready to learn!
Let’s start with my travel fave: my Lorac Beauty and the Beast Cheek palette. It comes with three blushes and a highlighter, which gives me a lot of options (maybe more than I even need). Plus, it comes with a long mirror, which is always good. I also have a small bronzer compact, which can also be used in my crease for an ultra simple eye look.
I packed the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Foundation, because it’s super long-wearing and versatile. I don’t anticipate I’ll ever need a truly glam look, but I’m ready for one. I also brought my AOA Wonder Conceal. It has a wand applicator, which means one less brush for me to think about.
The eye products I brought are a little bit extra, but I love them anyway. I brought the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette, which lets me do warm, neutral looks and bolder, more glam looks. Technically, I don’t think an eye palette was a must, because most of the shadow work could be done using my face products.
I brought my tried and true Elf Cream Eyeliner in Coffee. It does brows and eyes, which gives me two for the price of one! Plus, it’s really tiny, so it doesn’t take up that much space in my bag. I always say, pack tiny!
I also packed two lip liners plus my dying Ulta Matte Lip Cream in Courageous – which barely counts, because it’s always in my purse. I personally think lip liners + 1 lip are a great option. They’re smaller and thinner than most liquid and traditional lipsticks so they take up less space. They also can be worn on their own or used to transform a nude lip. They pretty much do everything!
What’s your best packing tip?
