Friends, family, and random strangers on the internet, I have a problem. I cannot stop buying things from shopmissa. There’s something about the $1 price tag on all of the items that just tells my brain, “Try everything!” and my foolish brain listens! As such, I have slowly, but surely been making my way through the website. Here is my current loot!
Glow Baby Highlighters
I rarely ever use liquid highlighters, but I’m excited to give these a go. I’m going to try them on top of foundation, mixed in foundation, and on my shoulders and clavicle for that Jackie Aina glow! I have two shades from the same bronzey-goldy color family: Goddess and After Glow.
AOA Skinny Mascara
I’ve been dying to try out the AOA Fat Lash Mascara and so has the rest of the web, apparently, because it was sold out when I went shopping.I got the next best thing according to the reviews: this skinny mascara that I will torture myself with by using it on my lower and upper lashes.
AOA Sculpting Brow Pencil in Dark Brown
These brow pencils are some of my favorites! They’re super cheap and cut the amount of time my brows take in half. This time, I decided to stock up just a bit and bought 2, but now I’m thinking that I should have bought, like, 5!
Amuse Matte Bronzer
I don’t know what told me that I could replace my $36 MUFE bronzer with a $1 bronzer, but I should not have listened. I’m not even bothered by the fact that this Amuse bronzer is powdery. I’m mainly upset that the darkest shade is still so pale!
AOA Perfect Setting Powder in Warm
If you read my review on the AOA Perfect Setting Powder in Banana, then you may recall that I was not a fan at all. For some reason, I assumed that the product would be better if it matched my skin color. Is that how science works? Stay tuned to find out!
ESFOLIO Pure Skin Essence Face Masks
You can never go wrong with a hydration based sheet mask, especially in the fall and winter. I picked up the Green Tea mask and the Honey mask, which both claim to do exactly the same thing. My hypothesis: the only thing different here is the packaging.
Evil Eye Stud Set
So evil eye imagery isn’t really my jam, but I love a good stud set – mainly because I’m always losing the backing of my earrings. These ones are the right bridge between class and edge. Plus, I can never own too many fake diamonds!
