Hey, y’all! We’re a mere few days into the month of February and I’m already missing January! It’s mainly because it’s 70 degrees outside right now and that temperature has no business creeping in during my winter season. January never played me like that! Also, January was a pretty good month! I ate a lot of great food, hung out with my family, and had an all around great time! Here are more things I loved last month!
Jaclyn Hill X Morphe Palette
This palette really got put to work throughout the month of January! I’ve been trying out so many different looks with it and I’ve loved every single one! For the most part, I just throw some warm shades into my crease and call it a day, but this palette is truly ready for every occasion!
Amuse Matte Bronzer
In December, I did a Shop Miss A haul and first impressions and my first impression of this bronzer was horrible! That being said, it’s actually turned out to be great for a $1 bronzer. It’s not as deep as I would like, but it does warm up my skin and blend out well. I would definitely buy it again!
Dermasil Dry Skin Treatment
Though I didn’t write about it on the blog, one of my personal goals for 2019 was to be less crusty and dusty. I used to be a forever ashy queen, but things are finally changing for the better! I got this lotion from Dollar Tree for – you guessed it – $1! It’s super powerful and hydrates my chronic dry skin! I recommend it to anyone whose body seems to hate all things good and moisturizing!
Diabetics’ Foot Cream
This was another Dollar Tree purchase that has been killing it! I don’t actually have diabetes, but – as I said – my body hates all things good and moisturizing. My feet are usually the most difficult to treat, but this really does the trick. It’s super thick and works like a dream!
This Brush Egg came with the brush cleaner and dryer that I was given for Christmas, and I’m living for it! Originally, I just used it for my hard to clean brushes – like my eyeliner brush – but have recently found an even better use: blending sponges! I know, it’s completely weird, but it totally works. Throw some dish soap on your sponge, scrub-a-dub-dub on the egg, and boom! You’ve got a clean blending sponge!
What were your January loves?

Until next time, have an awesome rest of your day and an amazing rest of your week!
