Super Late Fall Clothing Haul

Hey y’all! Halloween is over, which means that some of y’all think that it’s Christmas time. And I get it. Thanksgiving is problematic and way less exciting than anything that happens in the month of December, but I’m still going to give it and all of its autumnal glory a quick little moment. As such, here is my quick autumn clothing haul!

Teddy Bear Coat – $24 (TJ Maxx)

This is the pride and joy of my autumn wardrobe. It was the first piece I bought at the start of fall. I remember when the whole teddy bear look really blew up last fall and I was not a fan. I don’t understand what inspired this change of heart, but I’m a new woman and all I want out of life is to where this teddy bear coat for every moment of every day!

Express Jeans – $6 (Goodwill)

Let it be known: I don’t actually like these jeans. Nothing about them really screams “Liv” or even “give it a try, bc fall!” What they do scream is “I fit!” To give a little bit more context, my body is changing and I don’t fit my jeans in the same way that I used to. The combination of these jeans being cheap and fitting right meant that they ended up in my shopping cart.

No Boundaries Top – $12 (Walmart) + Curvy Highest Waist Jeggings – $50 (American Eagle)

This! Is! What! I! Like! I really love these pieces so I’m going to try to calm down enough to type something coherent. Like, breathe, queen. First things first: I bought this top. I was walking through Walmart, looking for my Sipping Soup when I got smacked in the face by the 70s. Or maybe it was the 80s. I’m not sure. But what I am sure of is the fact that I fell in love with the serious vintage vibes that I picked up from this top.

Second things second: these jeans. I might secretly hate my Express jeans, but I love these. They fit my waist perfectly and the extra-short length means that they hit right at my ankles, just like all good jeans should. American Eagle can really have all of my money.

Striped Button Down Top – $4 (goodwill)

This top was a mistake. Like, it looks super cute and professional in these photos. Plus, it has not one, but two pockets. Sounds like a win, right? Unfortunately, the downfall of this top is the weird gaping thing that keeps happening. And I get that I could fix it with a safety pin, but it’s irritating to have to do that in the first place. It still is really cozy, so I’ll probably wear it as a light jacket or a pajama shirt, but I don’t think it will ever truly live its best life.

Striped Old Navy Top – $4 (Goodwill)

I love everything about this top! I love that it’s got a light peplum vibe going on and that the material is super soft. I also have been in the market for fall ready tops that aren’t sweaters (wild, I know). This definitely feels this need, because it’s lightweight, cute, and cozy. Also, it has stripes. I love a good stripe.

Red Knit Sweater – $6 (Goodwill)

This sweater looks like something that my mom would have picked out for me when I was 8 years old. I would have looked at it and said, “Oh, it’s so ugly.” Then I would have cried when she inevitably made me wear it to school. Of course, over 10 years later, I’ve made some serious life changes. More specifically, the uglier the sweater, the more I want to own it. Now, this sweater isn’t the ugliest I’ve ever seen, but it does have a weird neckline and hits my body at an odd spot. But, because I’m an adult, I can truly appreciate the practicality of this piece: it’s warm, it’s comfy, and it’s Christmas ready.

Wool Sweater – $6 (Goodwill) + Paper Bag Pants – $12 (Walmart)

This is a very happy work outfit! I love wearing loose, flowy pants to work, because it almost feels like I’m wearing pajamas. And, these pants have a special bonus: pockets! That’s right! Be amazed! I’m also really vibing with this sweater, because it’s LOFT and it’s real wool. So fancy!

P.S. – I’m attempting Blogmas again this year! Yay! Will I succeed? Who knows! But what I do know is that I’m going to try my best. So, I’ll see y’all back here again tomorrow!

Where do you find the deals?
